Fight The Dragon - Review @ Digitally Downloaded

by Couchpotato, Friday - January 16, 2015 04:21

Digitally Downloaded has a new review I found this week for Fight The Dragon. He found the game to be goo and gave it a of a 4/5, but could be better with a few fixes.

Fight The Dragon could have used multiplayer polish, but the end result is a title that provides solid action RPG mechanics that is more fun with friends than solo. However, what Fight The Dragon will really hang its hat on is the accessible yet fairly robust editing system for creating new content for the community. This will likely keep people coming back for a good long time.

Fight The Dragon - Preview @ Strategy Informer

by Couchpotato, Monday - April 21, 2014 05:29

Strategy Informer reviews the Early Access version of Fight The Dragon.

If there’s a single upside to the recent deluge of unfinished titles flooding Steam’s Early Access, it’s getting the chance to see a game flourish and change its form under the weight of community feedback and fluctuating developer aspirations. It’s a peek under the hood that we rarely get to see on this side of the fence, with titles as diverse as Prison Architect, Project CARS and even the much-maligned Peter Molyneux joint GODUS all benefiting to various extents from pre-release attention.

Fight the Dragon is hoping to ride a similar wave. The developer is billing it as a small-scale hack-and-slash 3D action game played from a rotatable Gauntlet-style overhead perspective, with the main twist coming in the form of a suite of creation tools that should allow end-users to create their own worlds and adventures, eventually releasing them to an in-game content library that everybody can access. A LittleBigPlanet for the Diablo world then - although hopefully filled with fewer virtual dongs.

Fight The Dragon - A New Mini Action RPG

by Couchpotato, Monday - December 16, 2013 22:48

Fight The Dragon is a new kickstater from a new developer called 3 Sprockets. The game is described as a Mini- ARPG that comes with a contruction kit. Here are the details.

As heroes complete adventures and reach milestones, they earn tickets that allow them to go “Fight The Dragon” in the ultimate dragon battle arena.

Every player has their own dragon to fight, and each dragon has MEGA HP, so killing your dragon will require many encounters and a lot of skill. The damage you do to your dragon is persistent between play sessions, so collect as many tickets as you can and go battle it out!

Each ticket grants the player 3 lives, but be warned, there are more ways to die in the dragon arena than just the dragon, so stay alert!

Key Gameplay Features

  • Action packed Hack-and-Slash Adventuring
  • Epic loot to find and dangerous enemies to battle
  • Local Drop-In Split-Screen Co-Op
  • Up to 4 player online Co-Op (cross platform)
  • Endless range of adventures to play
  • Intense Dragon Fights
  • Fully intuitive gamepad support as well as Mouse & Keyboard
  • Full Steam Big Picture/Steam Machine support
