When evil forces awaken in the darkness, the world needs a team of heroes… But when these heroes are a ragtag bunch of unskilled jerks, only the healer can save the day.

Healer’s Quest is a lighthearted Comedy RPG where you take on the role of the most underappreciated party member in any fantasy realm: the Healer. Joining a band of inept misfits - a bossy tank, a handsome archer, a depraved mage, and a raging barbarian - you must keep your party’s health topped up whilst simultaneously managing dwindling mana reserves.

Not only can your party be taken down when their health ebbs away, they can also be hit with a range of debilitating status effects. It’s like juggling with magic, and the crowd hates you. If you let party members die, they may well go into a sulk in subsequent encounters. Manage moods with magical curatives, death prevention, and witty dialogue choices.

Design Highlight : Spell upgrades

Hi everyone,

We're just about to start the last week before the end of the campaign, and I would like to tell you more about another design topic. Let's talk about the spell upgrade system in Healer's Quest. I believe this is one of the most interesting aspect of the game, so get ready for this! :)

If you played the demo through the end, you probably have an idea of what this is about, but you just had the opportunity to upgrade one or two spells. Spells' skill trees is one of the mechanics which will make the game interesting in the long run by asking you to make meaningful choices when outside of combat and customizing your strategy. 

How does it work?

When your character levels up, you gain one magic star or more depending on your level. You can then access the skill trees and spend these stars to upgrade any available spell.

Hi everyone,

I received great news from Steam today : Healer's Quest has been Greenlit! I can't believe this happened in just 8 days! And it's all thanks to you guys, you rock!

As you probably all know, it means that Healer's Quest will be downloadable on the Steam platform once it's finished. It's really a big deal for me and the game! Thanks a lot for your help in getting it up there!

But wait, there is more! We also passed the 100 backers mark at the same time as 40% of our total funding goal! Healers' love is definitely taking over the world! :)

April 7th (World Health Day) is the symbolic date I chose to reveal my game Healer's Quest. It will be released on PC at the end of 2016. This news comes with a reveal trailer, a polished 15-minutes playable demo and a Kickstarter campaign.

About The Game:

Healer's Quest is a lighthearted RPG in which you play solely as the healer of a ragtag bunch of unfocused, greedy and highly amoral adventurers. The only match to their (very lacking) skills is their lousy temperament. They will rush head-first into desperate combats, fall into the most obvious traps, get cursed, poisoned, paralysed, vampirized, or – even – killed. It is up to you to ensure they will endure the most grievous wounds and survive their ordeals, in spite of their cripling noobishness.
 
You are their only hope. You are... their healer !
 
Start the game by customizing your hero and choosing his karma : Good, Evil or Victim. Each karma leads to completely different in-game dialogs and karma powers. Once it's all set, you're ready to team up with a bunch of loot-obsessed sociopaths and begin your mighty pilgrimage for gold and glory!
 
But as you control the healer, your goal during the real-time combat phases will be to keep your allies up on their feet by casting a wide range of helpful spells. Your character has no way of dealing damage to the enemies directly.
 
You will have to master 18 different spells, all widely customizable using skill trees. You can also count on loot and omnipresent Terry Pratchett-inspired humor.
